This group trains three times a week. Entry into this group is purely dependent on ability and not age. Coaches will work with the swimmers in this group to continue to develop good stroke technique, further improve strength and stamina, fine tune racing techniques and tactics.
Swimmers in this group are expected to attend all training sessions regularly and to be on poolside ready to get in the water at the start of each session. Members of the Seniors are also expected to represent the Club in local galas, when selected, and to compete individually in external galas. If a swimmer is selected to swim in a gala they are requested to indicate their availability as soon as possible and to make every effort to swim.
Swimmers are requested to bring a drink (water or squash), correctly fitting goggles, a hat (for girls and boys with long hair) and a net bag with fins, kick-board and pull-buoy, to all training sessions. Club hats must be worn at galas.
Please place your kit order online or speak to Sally Keigher or Lucy Budd at the pool on a Club night.
